it turned 8 o'clock and just sitting there
shaved and i was washed
with my phone in hand the thought crossed my mind
of what i would do, with no sign of you.

across the road i dragged myself
deflated and alone
with all the gusto I could find
i had to make up my mind
I must leave this behind

there is a light at the end of the tunnel

it turns 10 o'clock and just sitting there
staring into space
when a ringing of my phone brought with it a smile across my face
praying that the stars align and guide me thru this storm
i hold my arms out wide and close my eyes
falling into, into the arms of you
